Any time is a good time to visit San Diego. The weather is great all year round and there is always something going on to peak your interest. We've listed some major events that take place in San Diego to help you plan your trip to America's Finest City.

>	Buick Invitational Golf Tournament - January This is an annual PGA event hosted by Buick. This takes place at the Torrey Pines golf course, which is know for its views of the ocean on the cliffs of La Jolla.

>	Whale Watching - January through March Take a Whale watching tour to see the California Gray Whales on their migration from Mexico to Alaska.

>	Carlsbad Flower Fields in Bloom - March through Mid May View over 50 acres of Giant Ranunculus flowers and about 5 acres of other flowers in this unique garden.

>	ArtWalk - April Little Italy host this celebration of all things art. The streets are filled with performing artist, music and one of a kind art to buy.

>	Padres Baseball - April through September See the Padres play baseball at their home Petco Park. The location is right in the heart of downtown San Diego.

>	Rock and Roll Marathon - June This unique marathon draws runners from around the world. Every mile of the 26 miles a different rock band performs to inspire the athletes.

>	San Diego County Fair - June through July 4th This annual Fair features exhibits, food, livestock, contests, rides, live music, and entertainment.

>	Shakespeare Festival - June through August The Old Globe, located in Balboa Park puts on three Shakespeare plays in its outdoor theatre.

>	Temecula Balloon & Wine Festival - June Temecula's Skinner Lake host this great little Balloon and Wine Festival. Sample local wines while watching majestic balloons glide through the air.

>	Comic Con - July This yearly convention is the largest one devoted to comic books, movies and gaming. Comic-Con International draws artisits, movie starts, writer, directors and fans who love comics.

>	Gay Pride Parade - July Hillcrest fills with excitement and action this year during the San Diego Lesbian and Gay Pride parade, rally and festival. The rally kicks off three days of fun and community.

>	U.S. Open Sand Castle Competition - July Imperial Beach hosts the annual U.S. Open Sand Castle Competition and street fair. Check out amazing Sand Castle creations on display only for the weekend until the weather washes them away.

>	Thoroughbred Club at Del Mar - Mid July through August With races most days of the week and free concerts on fridays after the races Del Mar is the right place to come and make a bet.

>	SummerFest - August La Jolla Music Society's SummerFest is a high quality, nationally known classical music festival. It is well worth attending.

>	Chargers Football - September through December (or January if they make it through the playoffs) See the San Diego Chargers in action at Qualcomm Stadium nearly every Sunday (and some Mondays) in the fall.

>	Street Scene - September What started as a small music festival downtown has grown into a major festival showcasing big name musical acts.

>	Julian Apple Harvest - mid-September to November Visit this quaint mountain town east of San Diego to experience the Jonathan apple harvest and their famous apple pies.

>	Oktoberfest - October Downtown La Mesa closes for this yearly event devoted to beer, bratwurst and polka!

>	San Diego Zoo Kid's Month - October There is free admission for kids at the San Diego Zoo for the entire month of October. Both adults and children are in for a treat. Learn More about the zoo.

>	Miramar Air Show - October Watch the Blue Angels and other skilled pilots fly at MCAS Miramar Air Show. This event is an annual local favorite.

>	Holiday & Poinsettia Bowl - December Come December, San Diego hosts two College bowl games at Qualcomm Stadium.

>	December Nights Balboa Park - December Balboa park lights up for this free celebration filled with holiday music, food, and free admission to all of the museums.
